In Matthew 4:19 Jesus said...
“Come, follow me and I will make you fishers of men.”
This simple invitation sums up the purpose of Sunrise Men's Ministry:
“Come follow me…” – First and foremost, we’re following Jesus. As we go where He leads we learn to walk by faith, trusting Him and seeing that He is better than everything else.
“…and I will make you…” – As men we like to fix things, but we don’t transform our lives, Jesus does. If we follow Christ He will form us into His image and change us from the inside out.
“…fishers of men.” – Christ is forming us into men on mission. It’s a mission where our lives impact the lives of other men as we learn to communicate our faith and multiply our faith. This mission requires courage, obedience, faith, and fortitude with Christ paving the way.

Men's Softball Summer League
Sunrise Sports Ministry Men's (D-league) softball team.
- Game days: Every Tuesday night (check schedule using the link in the blue box to the left)
- Game times start at 6:20, 7:20, or 8:20 pm
- Where: Fair Oaks Park, 11549 Fair Oaks Blvd (just south of Madison Ave)
Other Stuff:
- Make sure you have rubber cleats, a glove, a hat, and sun glasses
- If you’re an infielder you may want a “cup” (not required, so it’s up to you…)

We will be embarking on the journey to Commissioning by the Christian Men's Network through studying the first of nine (9) course books, Maximized Manhood. Come join us in the crucible and earn your sword (literally, with your name on it) as a commissioned minister to men.
